1. INTRODUCTION

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of courier, delivery, freight, and logistics services by Red Cross Delivery to our customers.

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.


2. DEFINITIONS

  • “Shipment”: Any parcel, package, or goods accepted for delivery.

  • “Sender”: The person or entity dispatching the shipment.

  • “Recipient”: The person or entity receiving the shipment.

  • “Services”: All delivery, logistics, transportation, and related services provided by the Company.

  • “Prohibited Items”: Goods restricted or banned under applicable laws or these Terms.


3. SCOPE OF SERVICES

We provide:

  • Domestic and international courier services

  • Same-day and scheduled deliveries

  • Freight and bulk shipping solutions

  • Warehousing and logistics support (where applicable)

We reserve the right to refuse service for any shipment that does not comply with these Terms.


4. ACCEPTANCE OF SHIPMENTS

A shipment is accepted subject to the following conditions:

  • Accurate and complete sender and recipient information must be provided

  • Proper packaging must be ensured by the sender

  • The contents must comply with all applicable laws and regulations

  • The shipment must not contain prohibited or restricted items

We may inspect shipments for security and compliance purposes.


5. PROHIBITED AND RESTRICTED ITEMS

The following items are strictly prohibited:

  • Illegal goods or substances

  • Hazardous or dangerous materials (unless expressly permitted)

  • Explosives, weapons, or ammunition

  • Perishable goods (unless agreed in advance)

  • Currency, precious metals, or high-value items without declaration

  • Counterfeit goods

  • Any item restricted under local or international laws

If such items are discovered, we reserve the right to:

  • Refuse, return, or dispose of the shipment

  • Notify authorities where required


6. PACKAGING REQUIREMENTS

The Sender is responsible for:

  • Proper and secure packaging suitable for transportation

  • Adequate labeling and documentation

  • Ensuring fragile items are clearly marked

We are not liable for damage caused by inadequate packaging.


7. DELIVERY TERMS

  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed unless explicitly stated

  • Delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including weather, customs, traffic, or operational issues

  • Delivery is considered complete when the shipment is delivered to the provided address and accepted by the recipient or an authorized person

We may leave shipments in a safe location if authorized.


8. FAILED DELIVERY

If delivery cannot be completed:

  • We may attempt redelivery

  • Additional charges may apply

  • Shipments may be returned to the sender after multiple failed attempts

Storage fees may apply for unclaimed shipments.


9. SHIPPING FEES AND PAYMENT

  • All charges must be paid as agreed at the time of booking

  • Prices may vary based on weight, size, distance, and service type

  • Additional charges may apply for:

    • Customs duties and taxes

    • Remote area delivery

    • Special handling requirements

Failure to make payment may result in suspension of services.


10. CUSTOMS AND INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS

For international shipments:

  • The Sender is responsible for accurate customs documentation

  • Duties, taxes, and import fees are the responsibility of the recipient unless otherwise agreed

  • Delays due to customs clearance are beyond our control


11. LIABILITY

General Liability

We exercise reasonable care in handling shipments. However, our liability is limited.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Liability is limited to the declared value of the shipment or a fixed amount per kilogram, whichever is lower

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Exclusions

We are not liable for:

  • Delays beyond our control

  • Loss or damage due to improper packaging

  • Acts of God (force majeure)

  • Seizure by customs or authorities

  • Perishable or fragile goods unless agreed


12. INSURANCE

  • Optional shipment insurance may be available at an additional cost

  • Claims for insured shipments must be supported by documentation


13. CLAIMS AND COMPENSATION

  • Claims must be submitted within [7–14 days] of delivery

  • Supporting documents (receipt, photos, proof of value) must be provided

  • We reserve the right to investigate all claims

Compensation will be processed in accordance with these Terms.


14. TRACKING SERVICES

We may provide tracking services for shipments. While we strive for accuracy:

  • Tracking updates are estimates

  • We do not guarantee real-time accuracy at all times


15. CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Comply with all applicable laws

  • Not use our services for illegal or fraudulent purposes


16. TERMINATION OF SERVICES

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse or terminate services at our discretion

  • Suspend accounts for violations of these Terms


17. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for failure or delay due to events beyond our control, including:

  • Natural disasters

  • War, strikes, or civil unrest

  • Government actions

  • Transportation disruptions


18. DATA PROTECTION

We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and applicable data protection laws. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.


19. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on our website and platforms (logos, text, systems) is owned by or licensed to the Company and may not be used without permission.


20. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of all countries.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of all countries.


21. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

We encourage customers to contact us first to resolve disputes.

Where applicable, disputes may be resolved through:

  • Negotiation

  • Mediation

  • Arbitration


22. AMENDMENTS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
